The Rampage portable basketball goal is by far the best performing unit in its class. No other portable goal offers this level of rigidity, portability and simple height adjustment at such an affordable price.

Infinite rim height adjustment can be made with the easy crank handle located on the back of the vertical mast. The rim height indicator labels determine rim heights from 10' to 6'6". The Rampage uses our exclusive crank-up design, which is far superior to similar goals using "spring-slide" methods.

The Rampage can easily be transported across a gym floor or up a driveway. Simply depress the foot lever located on the base unit for transport. Flip the lever back up for play. The extension arm drops down easily without tools to allow the Rampage to pass under doorways for storage rooms or garages. The backboard to base extension is 30" at all rim heights. The front base and stem are covered with thick vinyl padding for player safety. Padding is available in several choices of colors.

Swayed by the Unmatched Warranty

Does the Rampage Portable hoop come with backboard and base/pole padding?

Base padding is included. You need to order backboard pad separately.

Is the Rampage an outdoor system?

A:
Yes, it is meant for both indoor and outdoor use. It is powder coated the same as all our other outdoor basketball systems. That doesn't make it rustproof, but it does well outdoors.

Can I fit more than 10 blocks in the Rampage ballast? Can I add more weight?

A:
There is some additional space, but not enough for more blocks. You would need to use something else to add more weight, such as steel plates (not sure there is room for bricks). Note: The Rampage unit is not intended for hanging on the rim. It is a shooting station, not meant for added weight to the rim. Instructions are written to prevent customers from using the unit without weight in the box

For a town park with unsupervised public access, would you recommend an acrylic backboard or tempered glass?

A:
Definitely acrylic if unsupervised public access. Tempered glass is particularly susceptible to vandalism.

Warranty Information:

All First Team products are warranted against manufacturers defects at delivery. Additionally, First Team warranties most products for a given period of time as stated in the literature. Below is and explanation of First Team's warranty levels.

Limited Warranty:

Covers any damage caused by normal basketball activity and normal player contact with the goal. "Normal basketball activity" and "Normal player contact" shall be described as any action that is necessary for participation in the game of basketball. Deliberate hanging on the rim, multiple player hanging, and vandalism are not covered under the Limited Warranty.

Superior Warranty:

Covers any damage or failure caused by any type of basketball activity or related contact with the unit. This includes deliberate hanging on the rim. The Superior Warranty does not cover vandalism.

Unconditional Warranty:

Covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason. Any product carrying an Unconditional Warranty is exempt from the above stated limitations.

Any normal wear and tear caused by weathering or UV exposure is not covered under any First Team warranty. All painted items carry a one year limited warranty on coating.

Some basketball products carry a warranty valid only when used in a residential setting. "Residential" is defined as a "single family dwelling." Products coverd by this warranty stipulation are indicated in First Team's product literature with a "R" symbol next to the warranty. Under no circumstances shall any basketball product carrying a strictly residential warranty be covered for non-residential use.

Due to the abusive nature of amusement facilities, unless specifically agreed to in writing, First Team products carry no warranty except for obvious manufacturing defects when used in an entertainment facility where players pay a fee to use the equipment.
