The HydroSport offers a professional look for your poolside at an affordable price!
The HydroSport's black powdercoated 4"x4" stainless steel post is designed with a bolt down anchor system similar to our upper end driveway basketball systems. The unit is secured to the pool deck using four stainless steel anchor bolts provided with unit. An ABS plastic anchor cover is also included. The HydroSport's extension arm is also powdercoated black and attaches to the post via U-bolts.
Though the HydroSport is considered a "Fixed Height" goal, the U-bolts can be loosened allowing the arm to be re-attached at any given height along the post.
A variety of backboards are available on the HydroSport. Pick the package that is right for your pool.
Each HydroSport basketball system is covered by First Team's Lifetime Limited Warranty.

For a town park with unsupervised public access, would you recommend an acrylic backboard or tempered glass?
Definitely acrylic if unsupervised public access. Tempered glass is particularly susceptible to vandalism.
What are the installation dimensions for the Hydrochamp III? How far does it extend from the post?
It is 18" from post to backboard at the highest setting and extends out to roughly 22" at the lower setting. Set the post as close as safely possible to the pool. More overhang is better - less risk of players hitting the edge of the pool.
What is the recommended footing depth for HydroChamp III poolside basketball goal?
Though the forces on the footing are diminished because of the shorter pole, we still recommend 36" deep on the footing.
What is the difference between Hydroshot and Hydrochamp poolside basketball goals?
Hydroshot is far superior for durability - it's made durable enough to handle city pools and splashparks. Hydrochamp will hold up to residential level dunking just fine. Hydroshot has a longer extension/overhang and a better warranty. The most popular model is Hydrochamp Select. For backboard sizes, 60" is the most popular, followed by 54", then 48".

WARRANTY INFORMATION:
All First Team soccer and volleyball products are warranted against manufacturers defects at time of delivery. Additionally, First Team warranties most products to the original retail customer for a given period of time as stated in the literature. Below is an explanation of First Team's Limited Warranty for soccer and volleyball products. Any First Team warranty is granted solely to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable to any subsequent owner, lessee, or acquirer of the product. The warranty terminates automatically upon any resale or transfer of the product.
Limited Warranty:
Covers damage or failure that occurs during the course of "normal or intended use" of the product. Normal or intended use of the product shall be described as activity that is necessary for the participation in the sport for which the equipment is designed. Malicious or deliberate damage caused by vandalism is not covered under First Team's Limited Warranty.
Superior Warranty:
Covers any damage or failure caused by any type of soccer activity, contact with tthe unit or associated use of the product. "Associated use" of the product includes but not is not limited to transport of portable goals.
Any normal wear and tear caused by weathering or UV exposure is not covered under any First Team warranty. All painted items carry a one year limited warranty on coating.
