First Team's Astro competition volleyball set makes lightweight, high performance volleyball affordable!
The Astro volleyball set is constructed of 3 1/2" x 1/4" wall high strength aluminum. Net is tensioned with our high grade precision wormgear crank with folding handle. First Team's wormgear net tensioning crank is exceptionally safe with no "backdrive" common with inferior net tensioners. Net height adjustments from 78" to 98" are quick and easy using our internal spring telescoping piston design. Slide the inner telescoping tube up or down and turn knob to secure. Net heights are displayed on the telescoping tube as shown in photo.
Each Astro volleyball system includes 3 1/2" uprights, net tensioner, our top of the line competition volleyball net made with KEVLAR, protective rope covers, antennae set, chain net height gauge and upright padding. Upright padding is available in 16 colors shown below. And don't forget, when you purchase an Astro volleyball system First Team will custom letter the upright padding at no extra charge!
The entire system meets all NCAA, National High School Federation and USVBA rules. All Astro volleyball systems are covered by First Team's Lifetime Limited Warranty.

First Team offers free custom lettering on most, but not all padding with the purchase of a complete system. Check the specific padding product page for lettering availability or call First Team for details.
- Choose from 3 font styles, shown to the left. Each font is available with or without a background color.
- Choose lettering color (foreground) from the colors shown.
- If applicable, choose background color.
- Add necessary elements to the padding model number to be lettered as shown in the examples to the left.

We are a church that hosts volleyball one to two nights per week. We have been using our current system for about 30 years and would like something comparably durable. We will likely be redoing our floors in the near future. What system would you recommend?
I recommend our FRONTIER, ASTRO or GALAXY volleyball systems. All three of these models are meant for competition level play. For a lower cost option, you could drop down to our STELLAR series for high end recreational use.
What is the weight difference between the Astro volleyball pole versus the Frontier?
Astro post is roughly 35 lbs. Frontier post is roughly 65 lbs.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:
All First Team soccer and volleyball products are warranted against manufacturers defects at time of delivery. Additionally, First Team warranties most products to the original retail customer for a given period of time as stated in the literature. Below is an explanation of First Team's Limited Warranty for soccer and volleyball products. Any First Team warranty is granted solely to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable to any subsequent owner, lessee, or acquirer of the product. The warranty terminates automatically upon any resale or transfer of the product.
Limited Warranty:
Covers damage or failure that occurs during the course of "normal or intended use" of the product. Normal or intended use of the product shall be described as activity that is necessary for the participation in the sport for which the equipment is designed. Malicious or deliberate damage caused by vandalism is not covered under First Team's Limited Warranty.
Superior Warranty:
Covers any damage or failure caused by any type of soccer activity, contact with tthe unit or associated use of the product. "Associated use" of the product includes but not is not limited to transport of portable goals.
Any normal wear and tear caused by weathering or UV exposure is not covered under any First Team warranty. All painted items carry a one year limited warranty on coating.
