- Heavy-duty 5 9/16" O.D. Schedule 40 galvanized post
- Nose-cone backboard mounting design with through-bolt permanently locking nose-cone to post
- Post is buried 48" below playing surface
- Post to backboard extension distance is 72"
- First Team goals are direct mounted to eliminate backboard stress

The Brute series of basketball packages are built with a stable 5 9/16" diameter galvanized post. The post extension allows for 72"-78" of run-out room and is designed with First Team's unique nosecone style backboard mounting making backboard installation and setup a breeze.

For a town park with unsupervised public access, would you recommend an acrylic backboard or tempered glass?
Definitely acrylic if unsupervised public access. Tempered glass is particularly susceptible to vandalism.
What is the difference between the Tyrant and the Brute systems?
Post size. Brute is 5-9/16" OD, Tyrant is 6-5/8" OD.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:
All First Team soccer and volleyball products are warranted against manufacturers defects at time of delivery. Additionally, First Team warranties most products to the original retail customer for a given period of time as stated in the literature. Below is an explanation of First Team's Limited Warranty for soccer and volleyball products. Any First Team warranty is granted solely to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable to any subsequent owner, lessee, or acquirer of the product. The warranty terminates automatically upon any resale or transfer of the product.
Limited Warranty:
Covers damage or failure that occurs during the course of "normal or intended use" of the product. Normal or intended use of the product shall be described as activity that is necessary for the participation in the sport for which the equipment is designed. Malicious or deliberate damage caused by vandalism is not covered under First Team's Limited Warranty.
Superior Warranty:
Covers any damage or failure caused by any type of soccer activity, contact with tthe unit or associated use of the product. "Associated use" of the product includes but not is not limited to transport of portable goals.
Any normal wear and tear caused by weathering or UV exposure is not covered under any First Team warranty. All painted items carry a one year limited warranty on coating.
